Our FaithAction Families Need Your Help
This page is for direct giving to emergency financial assistance for families in need.
FaithAction’s emergency assistance program serves individuals and families who are in need of financial support due to one of four hardships: survivor of recent violent crime (domestic violence, abuse, gang violence, other), loss of provider in household (death, abandonment, or deportation), chronic/debilitating health condition or terminal illness, or recently arrived to the country and they are: caring for young children, have limited English speaking ability, are actively seeking employment, are homeless or in unstable housing, or lack of access to transportation.
The average income for a family FaithAction serves is $1,300 a month. These funds go to assist the families in need and manage the funds and the programming.
