Greensboro's immigrant population works here, buys here, and raises kids here. When those families hit a wall (a language barrier, an unexpected health issue, a policy change) the whole community absorbs the cost.

FaithAction works with families to navigate difficulties so they can get back to meeting their goals. Every dollar donated goes into the work.

What would your donation make possible? Things like:

• Support for people with a family member in detention
• Support for people who are facing rapidly changing immigration policies that directly affect their lives
• Culturally familiar foods for people who cannot afford to feed their families consistently
• A workshop for employers who want to better support and retain immigrant workers
• Classes for community building and economic empowerment

Research shows again and again that a relatively small investment in immigrants pays off hugely for everyone–in the work they do, the creativity and innovation they bring to their communities, the businesses they create, and the taxes they pay.
