At FaithAction International, we see every day how lives are transformed when people are welcomed, supported, and empowered. We have the privilege of walking alongside thousands of newcomers each year as they rebuild their lives. We offer advocacy, connection, and a sense of belonging when it matters most.

This year’s masquerade theme invites us to reflect on something powerful: behind every mask is a story. While we may begin as strangers, through compassion, understanding, and shared humanity, we become neighbors. By building bridges across cultures and faiths, we create communities that are not only diverse, but deeply connected and strong.

Empowerment is at the heart of this work. It means helping individuals find their voice, restore dignity, and build new opportunities for themselves and their families. And when we invest in that kind of transformation, we don’t just change individual lives we strengthen the entire community.

Together, we aim to raise $50,000 to provide essential resources like education, legal support, and safe housing, ensuring our immigrant and refugee neighbors have the tools to thrive.
